If you have ever wanted to drive your own team of huskies and experience the splendour of the arctic winter and then been put off by doubts as to your own fitness and ability to cope with the challenge then we believe this is the perfect trip for you. Your English speaking guide Pasi is an ex Swedish champion musher so you can be sure of receiving first class tuition and an unforgettable winter experience. Pasi and his partner Sara will welcome you to their delightful village farm and be pleased to show you round, meet the huskies and horses before taking a pleasant home cooked meal, relaxing and discussing your trip before settling into to your comfortable room in main house, get a good nights sleep before the action starts

Day 1
Depart the UK for Stockholm Arlanda, here you will join your internal flight to Lapland, you will be greeted at the airport by your guide for the short road transfer to the village farm, settle in and enjoy a home cooked dinner with your hosts, relax and enjoy the remainder of the evening, Pasi your guide will be ready to explain the trip and discuss the art of mushing
Day 2
Take breakfast and it is off to meet the dogs, fit the harness and then it is time to enjoy the action. Heading off through the snow clad forests and over the frozen lakes, taking a well earned rest and an alfresco lunch along the way you will enjoy a thrill filled day before reaching your traditional wilderness cabin where you will tend the dogs before Pasi prepares your dinner, then it is time relax and rest in readiness for day two of your trip
Day 3
Breakfast before preparing your sleigh and the dogs, once again you will enjoy a full day of dog sleigh with wilderness lunch and maybe experience a little ice fishing before returning to the farm, tend the dogs and say your goodbyes before transferring to the hotel Lappland in Lycksele, enjoy a fine meal, comfortable evening and the excellent hotel facilities, indoor pool and hot tub, accommodation in a very comfortable suite complete with sauna and whirlpool bath
Day 4
Breakfast; depending on the time of you return flight you may well have time to take in a visit to the shops or the famous Arctic Zoo or some other activities before your host collects you from the hotel for transfer to the airport for your return flights
The package price is based on two sharing twin, double-room or family-room accommodation with flights from London; Accommodation Options: Various accommodation upgrades are available, including singles, mini-suites and deluxe suites with master bedroom and private sauna
The hotel has a child's play area video and DVD, indoor-pool, saunas, gymnasium and spa
An additional charge of £30-00 is levied for the use of individual machines and should the snowmobile suffer accidental damage, you, the customer is liable for the first 8000SEK of the cost of repairs, so please drive carefully.
Optional activities available locally
Most additional activities can be organised and booked at the hotel reception
These include: Alpine skiing, cross-country, snowboarding, ice-fishing, ice driving with cars, quads and cross-carts, snowshoe walking, additional dog sleigh and snowmobile trips

Occasionally weather conditions may be unsuitable or other circumstances may cause changes to the itinerary. We reserve the right to change the programe if this should be the case
Clothing
Although we provide all guests with high quality extreme weather clothing for the duration of their visit; in the form of hats, boots, suits and mitts. We must point out to all visitors that we strongly recommend that you travel in warm clothing; waterproof footwear and wear hats and gloves. Additional personal clothing should include thermal under garments, wool or thermal socks and additional layers of lightweight clothing such as vests. The temperatures really can be quite extreme and it is much more fun when you are warm!
