The town centre offers shops and restaurants, supermarket, a small shopping mall, cinema, aqua-park, theatre, bowling alley and all the additional services you will need.
By renting one of our extremely well equipped cottages we provide not only the accommodation but also return airport transfers, extreme weather clothing for the duration of your stay, a hot takeaway meal to be enjoyed on arrival, breakfast materials for your first morning. We also provide self catering guests with cross country ski equipment and extreme weather clothing for the duration of your stay. Naturally your friendly hosts will provide you with help, guidance and a full range of the available activities
Day 1
Flights to the heart of Swedish Lapland are now available from several UK airports
Guests will be greeted at Luleå airport by your hosts, on collection of their luggage they will be provided with the warm clothing before beginning the forty minute road transfer along the quiet roads through the snow clad forests until we reach the town of Boden. Throughout the transfer our driver-guide will answer your questions and explain how the native people live their lives in the north. During the journey your host will discuss your food preferences and arrange the collection of a hot takeaway meal for your enjoyment on arrival at your cottage.
Guests using the cottage option have a small starter pack of provisions is provided to enable you to spend a comfortable evening and enjoy a breakfast in the morning
Cross country ski equipment is provided for the duration of your stay to enable you to get around, there are many miles of ski tracks many of which are floodlit
Day 2
After breakfast our guide will visit you at your cottage and will be happy to answer your questions, explain the local area and amenities and also provide you with a program of the various activities which are available, these can be arranged and pre booked with your hosts

Day 8
Your guide will arrive before transferring you by road to Lulea airport for you're return flights

There is also illuminated alpine ski-slopes with a lift will is very well suited for beginners and pleasure skiers.
Other facilities
You will also find a service building with locker-rooms, showers and sauna. Outside there is also prepared fire-places with shelters and free wood to burn, so if you like to bring your own lunch-pack or grill your own food it's the perfect place. To get there you just take the track leading west, outside your cabin-door and after approximately 3 km you're there!

Boden initially was a town as railway junction in Northern Sweden and is also famous for the Boden Fortress that was constructed in the 20th Century, built to protect and defend Sweden’s from likely encounter from the Russians

Weather conditions
Occasionally the weather conditions may be unsuitable or other circumstances may cause changes to the itinerary. We reserve the right to change the programe if this should be the case
Clothing
Although we provide all guests with high quality extreme weather clothing for the duration of their visit; in the form of hats, boots, suits and mitts. We must point out to all visitors that we strongly recommend that you travel in warm clothing; waterproof footwear and wear hats and gloves. Additional personal clothing should include thermal under garments, wool or thermal socks and additional layers of lightweight clothing such as vests. The temperatures really can be quite extreme and it is much more fun when you are warm!
