Self-catering Package – Based on a minimum of 4 sharing accommodation
A wonderful self-catering break in the quiet mountain village of Hemavan Lapland This package not only provides you with a comfortable fully equipped apartment which is situated close to the foot of the main lift system, supermarket and other amenities, perfect the skiers and boarders. Great fun for all as the package also contains a number of other exciting winter activities for your enjoyment

Day 1
Flights from LHR via Stockholm to Hemavan Airport Transfer – Visit Supermarket – Basic food in apartment
Day 2
2 hour Snowmobiles safari; your hosts at Hemavan Outdoor Centre will be your guides for a winter ride through the hills, valleys and beautiful frozen landscape, admire the amazing views as you speed along. You will take a short break for a warm drink enroute there will be time to rest and maybe take some pictures

Lappish culture visit: Take a scenic road journey through the winter wilderness to the Daelvie Lappish culture centre – here you will meet the reindeer, enjoy some Lappish food and learn of the history and way of life of the Sami
Day 5

2 hour Dog Sleigh tour; meet the wonderful huskies and make friends before they whisk you away on thrilling sleigh ride through the hills and forests of the far north, you may even see some of the local wildlife as you speed along

Sadly it is time to leave Hemavan; return your guide will collect you for the short transfer to the local airport before you take your return flights
Optional activities available locally
Additional activities can be organised and booked at the Hemavan Outdoor centre these include: Alpine skiing, cross-country, snowboarding, ice-fishing, snowshoe walking, additional dog sleigh and snowmobile trips

Clothing
We provide all guests with high quality extreme weather clothing during the snowmobiles and dogsleigh trips; in the form of hats, boots, suits and mitts. We must point out to all visitors that we strongly recommend that you travel in warm clothing; waterproof footwear and wear hats and gloves. Additional personal clothing should include thermal under garments, wool or thermal socks and additional layers of lightweight clothing such as vests. Extreme weather clothing can be rented from your hosts at Hemavan Outdoor Centre should it be required, the temperatures really can be quite extreme and it is much more fun when you are warm!

The package is displayed including return flights from London Heathrow Flights may also be available from the following regional airports: Belfast, Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh & Dublin: A supplement of £55.00 per person will be charged.
