Laponia 4 Day Activity Break
A short break in winter wonderland, especially designed for those who have a busy lifestyle. Enjoy a fully-catered break in this beautiful forest area of central Lapland whilst staying at the Laponia hotel in Arvidsjaur. The trip includes a number of exciting winter activities, full use of the excellent hotel facilities and special clothing for the duration of your stay

Day 1
Depart LHR for flights to Arvidsjaur via Stockholm or Copenhagen
You will be greeted at the airport before making the short road transfer to the delightful Laponia hotel. On arrival (depending on the time of arrival) and after a welcoming drink you will be provided with a thermal suit, hat, mitts and boots. After being shown to your accommodation there may be time to explore before dinner.
Day 2
Sami Village Camp or Ice Driving
After enjoying a hearty breakfast you will take a short trip through the snowy wilderness to meet the Lappish people at the Arvidsjaur Sámi land camp; here you will meet these traditional forest people in there original surroundings, meet the reindeer and experience the old Sami culture and modern way of life. You can enjoy a number of exciting activities, a Sami lunch with lingonberry juice and coffee is included.
You may wish to visit hotel reception to arrange the hire of winter sports equipment or book an additional excursion for the afternoon period?
Customers may prefer to take part in Ice Driving rather than the visit to Sami land, the choice is yours! Please let us have your preference at the time of booking
Day 3 Morning
Snowmobile Safari
A two hour snowmobile safari; where once again you can enjoy the true splendor of Lapland, the young one's make this trip in the safety and comfort of a special sledge

Meet the Huskies
These amazing animals will take you on a true voyage of adventure across the frozen lakes and beautiful snow clad forests of Lapland.

Day 4
Departure
Depending on your time of departure you may wish to purchase some additional activities or simply relax. After returning your winter clothing you will take lunch, before making preparations for your return flight to the UK
Package Includes:
The package price is based on two sharing twin or double-room accommodation with flights from London; Accommodation Options: Various accommodation upgrades are available, including singles, family, mini-suites and deluxe suites with master bedroom and private sauna
The hotel has a child's play area video and DVD, indoor-pool, saunas, gymnasium and spa
An additional charge of £30-00 is levied for the use of individual machines and should the snowmobile suffer accidental damage, you, the customer is liable for the first 8000SEK of the cost of repairs, so please drive carefully
Optional activities available locally
Most additional activities can be organised and booked at the hotel reception
These include: Alpine skiing, cross-country, snowboarding, ice-fishing, ice driving with cars, quads and cross-carts, snowshoe walking, additional dog sleigh and snowmobile trips.

Occasionally weather conditions may be unsuitable or other circumstances may cause changes to the itinerary. We reserve the right to change the programe if this should be the case.
Clothing
Although we provide all guests with high quality extreme weather clothing for the duration of their visit; in the form of hats, boots, suits and mitts. We must point out to all visitors that we strongly recommend that you travel in warm clothing; waterproof footwear and wear hats and gloves. Additional personal clothing should include thermal under garments, wool or thermal socks and additional layers of lightweight clothing such as vests. The temperatures really can be quite extreme and it is much more fun when you are warm!
