Mountain Memories
Visit Hemavan in the stunning Tarna mountain region of Swedish Lapland, this package combines a number of high action sporting activities and also provides guests with the chance to enjoy the superb slopes and various local pursuits during their free time. A choice of accommodation options depending on your needs, return flights, local transfers and special clothing for the duration of your stay

Day 1
Depart LHR for flights to Hemavan via Stockholm
You will be greeted at the airport before making the short road transfer to your accommodation.Please discuss with your host your requirements for day two
There will be time to explore the village before dinner
Day 2
Alpine Skiing, Boarding or Cross Country Skiing
After breakfast you are free to enjoy a fun filled day on the superb slopes or tracks of Hemavan, Alpine, boarding or cross-country skiing, the choice is yours. There are many activities to choose from; Sami visit, Arctic Circle trip, dog sleighs ice-fishing or snowmobiles. All of these activities and equipment hire can be arranged direct at the Hemavan Outdoor Centre
Day 3 : Morning
Morning: Snowmobile Safari
Snowmobile Safari;
After breakfast you set out on a two hour snowmobile safari; where once again you can enjoy the true splendor of Lapland, any children make this trip in the safety and comfort of a special sledge.
Day 3 : Afternoon
Afternoon: Meet the Huskies
Meet the Huskies; These amazing animals will take you on a true voyage of adventure across the frozen lakes and beautiful snow clad mountains forests of Lapland
Day 4
Departure
You will probably depart early in the afternoon; you may simply wish to relax or you may prefer to purchase, one last morning on the hill or other additional activities. After returning your winter clothing you transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
The package price is based on two sharing; twin, double-room accommodation. Various accommodation upgrades are available, including singles and family apartments are available An additional charge of £30-00 is levied for the use of individual machines and should the snowmobile suffer accidental damage, you, the customer is liable for the first 8000SEK of the cost of repairs, so please drive carefully

Optional activities available locally
Most additional activities can be organised and booked at the hotel reception or Hemavan Outdoor center
These include: Alpine skiing, cross-country, snowboarding, ice-fishing, ice driving with cars, quads and cross-carts, snowshoe walking, additional dog sleigh and snowmobile trips.

Clothing
Although we provide all guests with high quality extreme weather clothing for the duration of their visit; in the form of hats, boots, suits and mitts. We must point out to all visitors that we strongly recommend that you travel in warm clothing; waterproof footwear and wear hats and gloves. Additional personal clothing should include thermal under garments, wool or thermal socks and additional layers of lightweight clothing such as vests. The temperatures really can be quite extreme and it is much more fun when you are warm!
