Superbly situated at the corner of Celetná and Štupartská Streets the five-star hotel Ventana was opened in August of 2004 Perhaps the hotel’s best attribute is its perfect location; this chic neighbourhood in the heart of historical Prague, just steps away from the Old Town Square with its famous Astronomical Clock and only a few minute walk to the medieval Charles Bridge and Kampa – a charming district known as Prague Venice. A pleasant stroll across the square will take you to the magnificent Church of St. Nicholas, or Paris Street with its famous fashion stores. It is extremely easy to get to the bustling shopping and entertainment areas which offer travelers unique boutiques, lively cafés and the cosy ambience of one of Europe’s most beloved cities. With the front facade facing the Old Town Square in the vicinity of the Tyn Cathedral the big porch with electric rustic lanterns is the unobtrusive main entrance is the dividing line between an inconspicuous exterior and a magnificent space of Italian marble, original paintings, a dramatic crystal chandelier, and unusual objets d‘art .

The hotel lobby

Just a few steps through the foyer of the Ventana Hotel Prague and the style and comfort is proclaimed. The floor and the portico are riveted with Italian marble, which is elegantly aligned with the other components of furniture and accessories in the hall. The hall is also adorned with iron ware and sophisticated lighting, which illuminates the high, partly stuccoed ceilings. The spotlighs illuminate the stone staircase spirals from the basement to the attic and the glass lift offers spectacular view of the interior of the hotel On the first floor there are 3 rooms, from the main one with marbel mosaic floor you can go either to the Library or to the Ventana Bar through oversized glass doors.

The Bar

The third room and one of the hotel‘s special features is a five-storey atrium which receives day light through its transparent glass roof. The unique Svarowski made crystal chandelier, utterly dramatic and delicate, hangs from the glass ceiling of the atrium, the work features tentacles as long as twenty feet
The Ventana Bar is located in this atrium. The bar has an artful design, polished teak floor with a glass strip running down its length to provide the lobby with natural light The restrooms of the bar have marbled floor and walls are embellished by coloured glass Bisazza mosaic The fasade of the atrium features oversized windows connecting the hallways to the rooms with the atrium.

The Library

Located just next to the main hall the library is ideal for meetings, or presentations. There are small tables as well as comfortable chairs and a plasma screen for watching sports The Library can also hold fashion shows. When not hired privately the room is used by guests and members as a relaxation and reading area. Caffee tables, as well as all the other furniture are made from rare  Zebrana
Breakfast is served daily from 7 to 11 in the Library and our guests can enjoy a view of the Týn Cathedral illuminated by the early morning sun
The breakfast menu varies from day to day and season to season, and is served buffet-style.

Rooms and Suites

The Ventana Hotel Prague offers cosy and well-designed rooms that provide a comfortable atmosphere for guests with different accommodation requirements and preference. Each of the hotel's 30 guest rooms is individually designed and uniquely spacious, overlooking the Týn Cathedral, or the King´s Row, alternatively the world-famous Old Town Square We also feature an accessible room specially equipped with wider doors, safety bars and raised toilets in the bathrooms, providing maximum comfort for our guests with physical challenges.

Single room:
Features 22 square metres of space and comes equipped with a desk, en suite bathroom with a bath-tub designed by Phillipe Starck, and a view of the Týn Cathedral

Superior double room:
Offers 26 square metres of space and comes equipped with a desk and en suite bathroom with a bath-tub designed by Phillipe Starck. These rooms have a view of the Týn Cathedral, or the King´s Row*

De-luxe Double or Twin Room:
A large room offering 35 square metres of space with either one King or two Single beds, comes equipped with a desk, wardrobe, coffee table, chairs, and en suite bathroom with bath-tub designed by Phillipe Starck. These rooms offer a nice view of the King´s Row, alternatively the Old Town Square

Skyloft rooms and suites:
Elegant two-story accommodation on the top floor, each of the 10 lofts have various windows providing dramatic views of the Prague's most famous skyline, 2 TVs, kitchenette, canopy bed, sitting-area with sofa. These rooms are designed to accommodate Prague´s most sophisticated guests, the glamorous Skylofts - ranging in size from 35 to 60 square metres - will be outdone only by the extraordinary level of personalized service provided by the Ventana staff.

Old Town Square Suites:
70 square metres in size, come equipped with a desk, wardrobe, coffee table, 2 TVs, kitchenette, canopy bed, sitting-area with sofa, dinning table, en suite bathroom with Bisazza mosaic and bath-tub designed by Phillipe Starck. These suites offer the unique view of the Old Town Square
