Ski on uncrowded slopes right through until the end of April. This picturesque village, set at the foot of the Tarna mountains is the perfect resort for all skiers and boarders. Accepted as having some of the finest Heli-skiing in Europe, this truly is a great resort.

Accommodation is provided by the friendly, family run, hotel Trolltunet set just eighty meters from the foot of the slopes and a short five minute transfer from the airport.

A traditional single storey cabin complex offering self-catering apartments sleeping up to eight people or mini-suite, double and single rooms with a full range of catering options.

Tärnaby and Hemavan are very close to the largest national park in Europe, Vindelfjällen, with its 550 000 hectare of wilderness. Hemavan is probably one of the best ski-resort in the world. there isn't a resort quite like Hemavan. Few people on the slopes, but those who are there are very friendly.

Heli-Skiing

Europe's largest nature reserve is the location for this complex activity that combines speed and excitement, as well as the mountain landscape with its tranquility. Norra Sytertoppens peak is 1767 m and has a drop of more than 1000m making it a fantastic off-piste area. Experienced guides accompany all trips. From the middle of March to the end of June, weather permitting.
